Bad Summer is a narrative-driven visual novel filled with romance, suspense, and a creeping sense of dread .  Will you forge deep bonds and uncover the truth, or will the secrets of Bear Ridge swallow you whole? Unlike normal point-and-click adventure games, Bad Summer has a big emphasis on romance. Our horror elements are inspired by successful visual novels such as The Letter and Doki Doki Literature Club. Our romance took inspiration from k-dramas, TV shows, and steamy best-selling fiction novels. Our storyline was also heavily inspired by interactive drama video games such as The Quarry and Halloween movies starring Jason Voorhees. 

Browsing through the games showcased during Next Fest is always a great time.
